We have received inquiries about installation and staking methods, etc. As you may noticed, validators must verify blocks 24/7, so we highly recommend using cloud servers to replace long-term turning on computers to save resources. šPrecautions before installing and depositing
Validators whose status has passed 12 hours after depositing 40,000 BOA will become āActiveā and allow to act as validators. If the validator does not start within 12 hours after depositing or is in ādeactivatedā status during verification, the 40,000 BOA deposited will be deducted as a penalty. If your balance falls below 20,000 BOA, you will be dropped (slashed) from the validator pool. Therefore, please well acquire sufficient knowledge about validator installation and operation before you do the depositing. Any deduction in deposited assets due to the above reason is entirely the responsibility of the validators. The BOSagora foundation does not take on the responsibilities.
šAbout withdrawal
As the mainnet Agora is in the early stage, to ensure the blockchain network can operate stably, prevent uncontrolled fluctuations, such as a large group of validators stopping the running node. Therefore, withdrawal of your staking is not allowed in the initial period of network operation. However, it will be possible after verifying that the network is operating stably. We will keep you updated on our social medias.
